A startup company in Modi'in is looking for a Mechanical Team Leader, to join its mechanical engineering group and be a key player in the mechanical development of optical connectivity products.

* The position requires the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, working closely with Hardware Engineers, physicists, process engineers and Product managers.

* Responsibilities include planning, designing, and developing products, tools, and fixtures - including implementation- testing, documentation, and product preparation for high volume manufacturing.

* B.Sc. in mechanical engineering.

* 6+ years' experience in the development of complex multi-disciplinary mechanical systems

* Experience in the following fields:

- Opto-Mechanics design

- Thermal simulations

- Electronic packaging- Must

- Machining- Must

* Excellent knowledge & experience with Solidworks– must

* Experience in drawings and production files preparation – must

* Define and design tools and fixtures for mass production – advantage

* Computers & software:

- Solidworks PDM – advantage

- Solidworks Simulation- advantage

- Agile - advantage
