A technological company in Jerusalem is looking for a VP Business Development – Healthcare, Medical devices, Life Sciences.
The VP Business Development will be responsible for multi-disciplinary business development activities, to seek and execute value-driven commercialization initiatives, and will report to the company's CEO.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct strategic and operational analysis of opportunities;
• Develop and maintain relationships with a wide array of domestic and international partners in alignment with the company’s priorities and guidelines;
• Manage and drive all aspects of deal process to rapid and successful completion: prioritize, negotiate, and oversee transaction execution;
• Deal structures will include research collaborations, options to license, licenses and strategic collaborations;
• Engage throughout all phases of the company's activities, and collaborate with other departments in the organization;

• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Healthcare/Biology/Medicinal Science.
• Post-graduate education: MBA, PhD or related is preferred.
• Multi-disciplinary background – a plus.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive business experience required.
• A minimum of 5 years deal-making experience (preferably mix of startups and large companies) with a proven record of leading and negotiating complex deals is required.
• Broad business knowledge and experience as well as good learning agility to discuss issues in science, sales & marketing, regulatory, finance, as well as pertinent industry aspects.
• Have a comprehensive understanding and proven track record in deal structuring, including the interplay between cost, risk, and value, across multiple collaboration models.
• Have extensive experience in interest-based negotiation, and a demonstrated ability to negotiate fair deal terms at a fast pace while developing a collegial, collaborative relationship with our potential partners.
• This position is based in Jerusalem, Israel, and may require domestic and international travel as needed.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
